LETTER
VOTE DEB MCDERMOTT - TRANSPARENT. INDEPENDENT. QUALFIED
Received from Geri Reichgut, Sea Cliff
March 16, 2017 To the Editor: I’ve lived in Sea Cliff for almost 50 years, Trustees have come and gone, many have put their heart into doing what they could to keep Sea Cliff in step with the times and yet keep the creative, uniqueness and neighborly feeling that we all moved here for. This election, Tuesday, March 21st held at the Children’s Library, I will be voting for Deb McDermott for Village Trustee. She is passionate and energetic about preserving the Sea Cliff we all dearly love. She’s extremely well qualified for the position having worked both in the corporate world and now is also raising her two children who are currently enrolled in the Sea Cliff school. She is well versed in environmental laws and is currently a plaintiff in the resident’s Waterfront litigation against the Garvies Point Development Project. I was most impressed to see she is a Plaintiff in the lawsuit. This tells me she is willing to go the distance to help preserve our quality of life here. I applaud Deb McDermott’s interest in bringing transparency to our community. She believes “government serves people best when those people are informed and can easily get information”. Deb McDermott is the best candidate for Village Trustee, through her actions, she has already proven she can and will maintain keeping our one square mile Village the place we all love to call home. Be sure to go to her website, I’ve only touched on a few of the reasons she’s the best candidate for Trustee. www.debmcdermott4seacliff.com Thank you! Geri Reichgut Sea Cliff BACK TO WEEKLY |
