31 NORTH SHORE STUDENTS INDUCTED INTO THE SCIENCE NATIOANL HONOR SOCIETY

North Shore Schools, Glen Head, NY - Recently, North Shore High School held a Science National Honor Society Induction Ceremony honoring 31 students. Science teacher, Mr. Richard Galati, along with Steven Menchel, guest speaker, led the ceremony and presented the certificates to the students.
The main objectives of the Science National Honor Society are
  • Encourage and recognize scientific and intellectual thought
  • Advance the students’ knowledge of classical and modern science
  • Communicate with the scientific community
  • Aid the civic community with its comprehension of science
  • Encourage students to participate in community service and in turn, encourage a dedication to the pursuit of scientific knowledge that benefits all humankind
Congratulations go out to the following 2015-16 science inductees: Sara Abbondondolo, Jacob Abramowitz, Stephanie Bazan, Brett Bennett, Cody Brady, Cathryn Casatuta, Alexandra Cefalu, Winston DeMartini, Andrew Douglas, Gabriella Farb, Cleo Fleming, Katerina Ganasoulis, Courtney Gilmartin, Jessica Hannon, Alexander Lacomba, Benjamin Lerner, Monica Manfredonia,  Anne Marchildon, Cecilia Nelson, Alyssa O’Rourke, Talia Pelts, Neilkaran Rawal, Julia Reilly, Anna Rothenberg, Eva Rothenberg, Carly Rovner, Stephen Saccone, Richard Song, Cassandra Sullivan, Diana Vizza, Brendan Zbikowski,  and Stephanie Zelenetz.
